I am Mathilde, the youngest daughter. Since I was little, I have been immersed in the family atmosphere of my grandparents’ campsite and am proud to see what my parents have done with it. After completing my tourism studies, I decided to travel around the world with my backpack but come back every summer to work at the campsite with my parents. After seeing many countries, I decided to live and work in the campsite again, which for me is (objectively speaking) the most beautiful place in the world.
Today I am happy to announce that, along with my big sister, I am the third generation of the same family to work at this campsite. We look forward to welcoming you to our house!
I’m Lucie, the eldest daughter. When I was 18, I left the campsite to study and then obtained a master’s degree in tourism management. At the end of my final internship, I got a job as a multi-site director in a large French company, where I worked for several years. Far from my family, I finally realized that my place was in the Dordogne, but above all in Maisonneuve. I then left everything behind to return to this corner of France that I missed so much. I couldn’t have imagined starting my family anywhere other than here.
I am very talkative and am always happy to chat with you, give you orientation, guide you and advise you on good addresses in our region.
In addition to being our workplace 12 months of the year, the campsite is also where we live with our respective families. Watching our children grow up here is an incredible opportunity for both of us, which we are fully aware of. For this reason, we pay particular attention to the atmosphere we want to convey, with the help of decorations and care in the selection of materials, plants, our cards, furniture, and our team. Everything to make you feel “almost” at home. As we like to say, we welcome you to our garden.

The year 2020 was marked by the sign IV, and was renovated after 5 years of preparation for the presentation of a camping with installations of recent terminations for the proponent of the mayor’s home.
2016
A family passion
In 2016 we “bought” the campsite from our parents. Now We can say that we are the 3rd generation of the DEJEAN family that worked and lived our passion in Maisonneuve.
2013
The 3rd generation
In 2013, after having rolled our hump and seen the country we decided by mutual agreement to come back together to work with our parents and take the reins smoothly. We mark our return by obtaining the European Ecolabel. Then we decide to completely recast the pool / pool area (which is over 30 years old) completely themed with that touch of charm that characterizes all our projects.
1985 - 1988
The family enlarged
In 1985, then in 1988, we point the tip of our nose into the world and we are immediately bathed in the family business for our greatest happiness. We can see our parents working like crazy all year long but we see them especially happy and fulfilled by their job & passion. It is therefore natural that we move towards university courses in the tourism sector …
80's
From a farm to the campsite
During the 80’s, with only 3 showers and toilets, freshly drawn milk every morning for the last week of camping and especially mutual help and friendships were born. The years go by and the idea of our grandparents to welcome campers is growing and taking an increasingly important place in our father’s mind. Agriculture is in decline and he had to bounce back, dare to take risks and launch himself into the unknown world of tourism.
1978
The 2nd generation
In 1978, Our father met our mother Agnès who works on his side in a sté, and left everything to follow him in his project to develop the campsite and create infrastructure (sanitary, swimming pool, etc …). From 1978 to 2013 they work hard to develop the campsite and make this haven of peace and this beautiful welcoming place for campers from all over Europe, while cultivating a family ambient, charm and authenticity.
1976
Jhenri DEJEAN
In his turn, our father Jhenri went to the army and returned in 1976. He returned to the family farm to help his parents Joe and Marguerite. More than 8 hectares of crops, cows, chickens and a few campers during the summer months that help during the farm cropping during their holidays, all in a jovial and good-natured atmosphere.
1956
Joe and Marguerite DEJEAN
In 1956, our grandparents Joe and Marguerite decided to turn the family farm into a campsite. Marguerite, trained as a secretary, takes care of all the administrative part and Joe, farmer and handyman, takes care of all the technical and external part. Little by little a clientele begins to be created and friendships are born.
Year 1920
The Beginning
In 1920, after the first great war, our great-grandfather Jean Baptiste DEJEAN buys a small farm called Maisonneuve and settles the family there. He has 2 children including the youngest Joe DEJEAN. Joe meets Marguerite and their son Jeanri born in 1956
